In which European museum is the Gate of Ishtar reconstructed?
Answer
The Gate of Ishtar is one of the eight gates of the inner city of Babylon. It was built north of the city in 580 BC on the orders of King Nebuchadnezzar II. The complex, which was completely reconstructed, is preserved in the Pergamon Museum in Berlin.
