Yelena Gadzhievna Isinbayeva is a Russian pole vaulting athlete. Two-time Olympic champion, at the 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Games, she is also three-time world and European champion. She is the current world record holder in women's pole vaulting, with 5.06 metres cleared in the open air in Zurich in 2009.
